Buffalo Sabres prospect Jack Quinn, who has enjoyed a dynamic season with the Rochester Americans, has been named the AHL’s Dudley Garrett Memorial Award as rookie of the year, the league announced this afternoon.

BUFFALO – Victor Olofsson’s ability to quickly adapt and evolve has helped him morph from an unheralded Sabres prospect into one of the NHL’s top rookies.

Sabres’ Victor Olofsson has chance to enjoy dynamic rookie season

BUFFALO – Winger Kyle Okposo still remembers the first time he and some other Sabres watched rookie Victor Olofsson shoot the puck.

Marcus Johansson, Jake McCabe named Sabres’ alternate captains
