At 18, Sabres prospect Jiri Kulich having ‘remarkable’ season in Rochester

ROCHESTER – Americans rookie Jiri Kulich positioned himself in the right circle during a power play, and when Ethan Prow adroitly delivered a pass into his wheelhouse, he quickly unleashed a wicked one-timer.

BUFFALO – At the 18:30 mark of Friday’s second period, the New York Rangers penetrated the Sabres’ unusually stingy defense, generating a prime scoring opportunity on goalie Devon Levi.

Sabres goalie Devon Levi waiting for immigration paperwork to be finalized

BUFFALO – As the Sabres practiced Thursday morning in LECOM Harborcenter, goalie Devon Levi wheeled a cart filled with his equipment into the rink and grabbed a seat next to general manager Kevyn Adams in a suite.

Levi and Adams watched the rest of the session together before the rookie put his gear on and hopped on the ice after most of his teammates departed.
