BUFFALO – The NHL announced this afternoon the Sabres will be opening the Stanley Cup Playoffs on Sunday.

BUFFALO – The upper-body injury that has sidelined Sabres rookie Noah Ostlund the last two games “may take a little bit of time” to heal, coach Lindy Ruff said.
