The Sabres will play six preseason games, including three contests at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, prior to the 2021-22 NHL regular season, the team announced this afternoon.
The COVID-19 pandemic prevented NHL teams from playing any exhibition games prior to last season’s truncated 56-game schedule.
The Sabres will play every preseason game in an NHL arena for the first time since 2015.

Sept. 28: Buffalo at Columbus, 7 p.m., Nationwide Arena
Sept. 30: Buffalo at Detroit, 7:30 p.m., Little Caesars Arena
Oct. 1: Pittsburgh at Buffalo, 7 p.m., KeyBank Center
Oct. 4: Columbus at Buffalo, 7 p.m., KeyBank Center
Oct. 5: Buffalo at Pittsburgh, 7 p.m., PPG Paints Arena
Oct. 9: Detroit at Buffalo, 3 p.m., KeyBank Center
