The Rochester Americans have signed forwards Tyler Randell and Vasily Glotov to one-year AHL contracts, the Buffalo Sabres’ top affiliate announced today.
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Randell played 27 games with the Boston Bruins in 2015-16, scoring six goals and six points.
Randell, 27, spent last season with the Belleville Senators, compiling three goals, eight points and 94 penalty minutes in 57 AHL contests.
The Bruins drafted Randell in the sixth round, 176th overall, in 2009.
Meanwhile, Glotov, 20, scored a team-high 29 goals and 43 points last season with the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League’s Shawinigan Cataractes.
The 5-foot-11, 174-pound Russian ended the season on a pro tryout, playing one game with the Amerks and five with the Cincinnati Cyclones, the Sabres’ ECHL affiliate.
The Sabres drafted Glotov in the seventh round, 190th overall, in 2016.
