The Buffalo Sabres’ success last season created so much demand they’ve sold out of season tickets for the 2026-27 season, the team announced Tuesday.
So the Sabres, like they did in the mid-2000s, have started a season-ticket waiting list.
For a $100 deposit, fans will have their name added to the list and be given access to purchase season seats ahead of the general public. They will also receive playoff ticket pre-sale access and a one-time discount to Buffalo ProShop, the online team store.

The Sabres took their place among the NHL’s heavyweights last season, ending their NHL-record 14-year postseason drought in style by winning 50 games and earning 109 points under coach Lindy Ruff. They defeated the Boston Bruins in the opening round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs before falling to the Montreal Canadiens in a memorable seven-game series.
Not surprisingly, fans flocked back to KeyBank Center. The Sabres’ average attendance swelled to 17,853 spectators per game, nearly 2,000 more than the 2024-25 season. They sold out their final 24 contests, including the playoffs.
The atmosphere in the rink was often raucous.
The Sabres hadn’t averaged 17,000 fans per game since the 2019-20 campaign.
