The Buffalo Sabres on Friday re-signed defenseman Henri Jokiharju to a one-year, $3.1 million contract.
Jokiharju, 25, can become an unrestricted free agent next summer.
The Sabres now have three unsigned restricted free agents: goalie Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen, center Peyton Krebs and winger Beck Malenstyn.
Luukkonen and Malenstyn on Friday filed for salary arbitration. If a player files, a contract can still be worked out. Hearings run from July 20 to Aug. 4.
Jokiharju enjoyed arguably a career-best year last season, compiling three goals, 20 points 24 penalty minutes and a team-best plus-14 rating in 74 games.
The Finn has registered 16 goals, 75 points, 110 penalty minutes and a minus-23 rating in 309 career NHL games.
The Sabres acquired him from the Chicago Blackhawks in 2019 in exchange for forward Alexander Nylander.
