The Rochester Americans have suspended forward Stevie Moses indefinitely for breach of contract, general manager Randy Sexton announced Friday.
The organization will have no further comment, according to a one-sentence press release.
Moses, 28, signed a one-year AHL contract with the Buffalo Sabres’ top affiliate in July.
The University of New Hampshire product scored a KHL-record 36 goals with Jokerit Helsinki in 2014-15. He parlayed that season into a one-year, $1 million contract with the Nashville Predators.
Moses, however, was assigned to the Milwaukee Admirals and played only 16 games with AHL team before returning to Europe.
Moses has seven goals and 16 points in 29 games with the Amerks.
